Testimonials

These are typical examples of feedback we receive after completed repair or maintenance work. Results depend on roof condition, weather, and access constraints.

Kentish Town, London · Roof repairs & leak tracing

Repair-first

“They explained what was causing the leak, showed photos from the inspection, and completed the repair without trying to upsell a full reroof. Clear paperwork and tidy finish.”

Constraints: limited safe access; work planned around rain windows.

Outcome: leak stopped after repair; written notes and photo evidence provided where safe.

Imran S.

Islington, London · Flat roof maintenance (felt/EPDM)

Clear comms

“Quick response and good communication. The team highlighted a blocked outlet on the flat roof and fixed the edge detail. No issues since the last heavy rain.”

Constraints: access via rear alley; short working window for a tenant property.

Outcome: improved drainage; no recurring ponding observed in follow-up rain.

Camden, London · Gutters, fascias & roofline works

Straightforward

“Gutter problems were causing damp patches. They re-aligned the run, replaced a damaged section, and advised on ongoing maintenance. Very straightforward to deal with.”

Constraints: narrow frontage; neighbour access coordinated in advance.

Outcome: water now runs to the downpipe correctly; damp patches began drying once the source was removed.

Daniel R.

Bristol · Roof repairs & leak tracing

Photo report

“We had a drip appearing only in wind-driven rain. They traced it to a small flashing gap near the chimney and replaced the faulty section. No drama, just a proper diagnosis.”

Constraints: intermittent fault; required inspection after rainfall and careful staging.

Outcome: water ingress resolved; homeowner received a short scope and repair notes for records.

Manchester · Gutters & downpipe reseal

Tidy work

“They didn’t just clean the gutters — they explained why one joint kept overflowing and re-sealed it properly. The team cleaned up and took the waste away.”

Constraints: busy street frontage; work timed to avoid delivery hours.

Outcome: overflow stopped in subsequent rain; improved alignment and flow to the outlet.

Peter G.

Leeds · Flat roof edge detail & outlet check

Practical advice

“We were worried it was ‘the whole flat roof’. They showed that the main issue was at the edge trim and the outlet. They fixed the weak points and advised what to watch for.”

Constraints: limited safe access route; moisture needed ruling out vs. condensation.

Outcome: no further staining; clearer drainage path and maintenance guidance provided.

Aisha K.

Birmingham · Slipped tiles & underfelt patch

Fast turnaround

“After the storm we had tiles out of line and a small damp patch. They secured the area, replaced the slipped tiles and patched the underfelt where needed.”

Constraints: weather-dependent; prioritised making it watertight quickly.

Outcome: roof made secure; no further damp patches after drying period.

Tom & Rachel M.

Glasgow · Roofline inspection & minor repairs

Clear scope

“We appreciated the written scope. They identified a couple of small issues (loose fascia edge and a joint) and fixed them rather than pushing a bigger job.”

Constraints: short daylight window; careful assessment for safe access.

Outcome: small defects resolved early; reduced risk of water tracking behind the roofline.

How reviews are collected

We request feedback after a job is completed (or after a clearly defined stage, such as leak-stopping works). Reviews are captured via email or a written message and stored with the job record (date, location area, and scope). We don’t edit the wording for meaning—only for obvious typos or to remove personal contact details.

If something didn’t go to plan, we prefer to resolve it directly first. For complaints or escalations, please use the process described in policies.html.
